
TIMOTHY SCHNEIDER is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor and creative business professional. He is the President and CEO of Schneider Publishing Company, Inc., where he founded SportsTravel magazine, the first media brand devoted to the sports-related travel market; TEAMS: Travel, Events And Management in Sports, an annual conference and expo for the international sports-event industry; and the EsportsTravel Summit, a first-of-its kind conference on the growing impact of esports on the travel industry. He also founded the Sports Division at Northstar Travel Group, the world’s leading business-to-business media and marketing services company serving the travel, hospitality and event-planning industries.
Tim is a past chairperson of the Destinations International Foundation, and has served on the boards of several organizations, including the Destination Marketing Association International and the U.S. Travel Association. He also served two terms on the board of the National Association of Sports Commissions and was inducted as a member of the inaugural class of the NASC Hall of Fame. He has been active in angel investing through Tech Coast Angels and the HBS Alumni Angels Association. Tim is an alumnus of Georgetown University and the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
Tim and his wife, Laura, have lived in Pacific Palisades for more than 20 years and raised their two sons, Luke and Jack, there. Tim is a past member of the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce and served as president of the Los Angeles Council of Parent-Participation Nursery Schools while also representing Rustic Canyon Nursery School. He also served as the Official Pronouncer for the Pacific Palisades Spelling Bee from its inception and as a major-programs volunteer at the Pacific Palisades Library, where he created the Writers, Artists and Musicians Series to showcase the notable talent that calls Pacific Palisades home.

My wife, Laura, and I own a home on Toyopa Drive, which was damaged but not destroyed in the Palisades Fire. As such, we could benefit should post-fire home values increase. In addition, Laura is the long-time volunteer president of the Pacific Palisades Library Association and we are both partial to the importance of rebuilding the Palisades Library.
