Managing the influx of vehicles and materials is critical to maintaining the community’s functionality during reconstruction. Key traffic management strategies include:

• Swift Delivery Routes:

o Inbound (5:00 AM – 9:00 AM) via one-way Chautauqua and Sunset eastbound.

o Outbound (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) via one-way Chautauqua westbound.

• Congestion Solutions:

o Temporary one-way street configurations.
o Collaboration with the Department of Transportation (DOT) for street overlays. o Coordination with waste management companies for consolidated bin locations.

City Mobility

Road Planning:
o Streets overlay interactive map (working on it) o Divide Palisades into sections

▪ Chautauqua for movement to/from Palisades South

▪ Sunset for movement to/from North, reverse in the afternoon). o Streamline road access.

o Incentivize subs to carpool

o Shuttles to and from staging grounds and housing areas • Parking & Traffic Regulations:

o Suspend parking meters for 16 months.
o Moratorium on parking in narrow streets for 18 months.
o One-way streets (morning to noon, afternoon to evening).
o Extended hours for material deliveries (deliveries at night. Work during the day) o Extended hours for work shifts (perhaps two shifts per 24 hours)
o Allow ADUs or mobile units on lots
